10. Reflection

 10. Reflection: Describe your most challenging moments in this class. How did you use growth mindset ideas to work through the challenges? Give 2-3 well-developed examples with specific supporting details. Reflecting on your experiences, how do you perceive writing in English now?

I challenge mysefl to keep learning and to focus on my english speaking and writing skills. My dream is to be ready when I receive the legal papers to move to the US. This is a process that the government has and I need to wait. So I am clear on my purpose and I will keepo going until I am more prepared.

A Grow mindset is something that I used in my live, I need to be more competitive as a professional so is important for me to mantain in class. I am a non credit student, and this opportunity is a gift for me, so I need to get advantge of this opportunity.

The best examples of my progress are:

1.- I will always remember that miss Lee make me read a paragraph, and I comit a mistake with my pronuntiation with a word that ends in "ed", I repeat seceral times until I pronuntiate it correctly and this is something I still use and remember.

2.- Writing an Essay is an art, but has a technique and process, so it was more easy to understand the steps I need to take, I am not an expert but i am more confident to continue writing. In Paper 3 I used more techniques and spend more time reading several times until I feel more comfortable with my words and writing.

3.- I love the discussion, and to hear others pronuntiation and learning about my mustakes and also others mistakes. So the environment was very friendly to mantain the learning environment. So hearing my teacher and other help me to have more fluent conversations, I know I still need to improve but I more comfortable mantaining a conversation.

5. Office Hours/Student Hours

       A. Evidence of meeting with your professor (Esther Lee) or DS (Loisa Chen) during office hours or                 tutoring hours.       B. Write a brief summary of the meeting. What was your takeaway from the experience?  The experience was great you can focus on your work and have a direct feedback of your teacher that will guide you to improve your writing. In this specific case, we review my essay and have some take aways to improve. So this investment of time was a good deal for me.
